InfoWindow™ Sweeping The Nation!
New see-through vinyl has spawned the InfoWindow™.
![]() |
The InfoWindow™ is custom made and is getting attention. Now that over eighty per cent of all Americans are in their cars on average seven days per week, anyone with a car can advertise effectively.
With hundreds of TV stations, sattelite commercial free radio, and the advent of TiVo, businesses are searching for new ways to get their message out. The back window is the most visible and seen part of most any car. Now with the dramatic increase in traffic, the average InfoWindow™ will be seen over two million times annually. With an expected lifespan of more than the ownership of the average car, this makes InfoWindow™ the lowest cost per impression advertising in the country! |
Special InfoWindow™ Laminate
InfoWindow™ can be 'layer laminated.' What does this mean to you? You will not lose vision because of rain or moisture as you would with any unlaminated perforated vinyl. Any unlaminated see through sign loses clarity in the rain. In fact you will probably not be able to see out a window at all with an unlaminated sign. This special 'layer laminate' also protects your graphics. The ink is not exposed to the elements or car wash soaps and chemicals. An InfoWindow™ should outlast the average car ownership!

Will I see through my InfoWindow™?
Yes - Any InfoWindow™ installed correctly should allow you to see through from the inside. Degree of clarity will depend on the vertical slope of the glass, and sun conditions. A layer laminated InfoWindow™ will allow you to see through the window during rain or moisture as well. Our specially developed laminate system actually adds a clear laminate over your graphics.
Are colors exactly as we see them on the proof?
We do not guarantee color, we will do our best to produce Infowindow™ as close to the color in the proof as possible.
Does my InfoWindow™ provide tinting capability?
Yes - Up to (what is known in the tinting industry as) fifty per cent.
With an InfoWindow™ on my back window, can I still use my rear wiper?
Yes - With a laminated InfoWindow™ the rear wiper does it's job and never touches your graphics or vinyl. Unlike other rear window graphics, InfoWindow™ has the option of a full specially formulated laminate layer that protects your graphics and promotes continued visibility even under wet conditions.
Can I use my rear window defrost with an InfoWindow™?
Yes - InfoWindow™ mounts on the outside of the glass. We have had no reports of rear window defroster affecting any InfoWindows.
How long will my InfoWindow™ last?
InfoWindow™ could very well outlast your car. Inks are guaranteed by the manufacturer for three years and the vinyle with laminate could last for years longer.
Can I get InfoWindows for other windows, besides my back window?
Yes - The back side of windows of your vehicle are great places to get your message out as well. We even make InfoWindows for storefront glass.
How do I install my InfoWindow™?
Step 1: Vehicle Perparation
Make sure that the outside air temperature is above 40 degrees F (+5°C). If you cannot bring the vehicle into a heated building, warm the car interior during cold weather. If the temperature is too hot, usually more over 70 degree F (+21°C) park the car inside or in the shade until the car cools. Remember the inside of a closed car can reach extemely hot temperatures in a short period of time, especially in the sun. The glass can be just as hot or hotter.
Step 2: Glass Perparation
Clean the outside window glass thoroughly with soap and water. If needed, using simple rubbing alcohol will remove unseen contamination. Make sure the glass surface is dry and free of residue before applying.
Step 3: Application
Make sure the window is dry. If applying a full size window image, use masking tape strips to pre-position the image on the vehicle prior to removing the backing material. Carefully peel off adhesive backing from behind the image and apply from one edge and work to the opposite side, smoothing the image to prevent wrinkles. If wrinkles should occur, gently lift up the image to where the wrinkle is, smooth out the wrinkle with your hand, and continue applying.
Step 4: Adherence and Trimming
To help adhesion, lay the disposable backing over the image and run firmly from the center to the sides of the image. If mounting a full window image you will have extra material to trim the outside of the edge of your rear window glass. Trim the excess material with an Exacto knife or similar tool to complete the installation. The pressure sensitive adhesive bonds to the glass very well when first applied but will set more firmly after a twenty-four (24) hour period. Avoid power car washes for the first week after application. For longer life avoid using snow scrapers. Treat this image as you woudl the painted surface of your car. Do not sue abrasive cleaners on teh image. Rear window mounted wiper blades may cause premature wear of the image.
How do I remove my InfoWindow™?
InfoWindows are made to be installed one time. Remove the InfoWindow™ only when you no longer are using it. Removal Techniques - The perforated film can be removed by using a thin scraper device. It is best to start in one corner and lift up a small section. After this is done, you can normally use hand force to pull the image from the glass. As with any decal or sticker, the warmer the outside temperature, the easier the removal will be. If any adhesive residue remains on the glass surface it can be cleaned with any quality commercial glass cleaning liquid or citrus-based adhesive remover / cleaner.
